What’s Your gift to the world?

Angel

I had recently visited Coco’s in Bahrain, one of my favorite restaurants. The food is absolutely amazing and they also have delicious smoothies, salads, soups, not to mention the desserts…

I decided to try this Samoa, grilled fish with lemon sauce and rice with herbs. When the plate arrived to the table, I was astonished with the presentation. The fish and the rice were beautifully  wrapped in banana leaf, adorned by this giant chilly peppers and garlic stick. So boldly artistic and irresistibly attractive.

The best part was, that the taste matched the presentation level: extraordinary! The portions were really generous too. And accompanied with a delicious avocado smoothie, presented in a beautiful jar. Everything in that restaurant is so original. And you can feel so much Love in their food.

put your art in everything

As I was told by the waiter; the creator of these recipes is also the owner of the restaurant. In my humble opinion, he has created a unique, one of a kind experience.  There’s nothing similar in the surroundings. His focus was obviously to create delicious food, artistically well presented, in generous portions and at an affordable price. A piece of (he)Art.

Isn’t this the experience you want to have every time you go to a restaurant? He had the courage to follow his heart and to create with his intuition and feeling.
This experience got me wondering…. Isn’t that amazing, when the work that you do is not something separate from you, but an extension of who you truly are?

When you are able to express yourself through the work that you do, people can instantly feel that.

Is the work that you are doing at the moment in alignment with who you truly are? Are you satisfied with what you do right now and can proudly say: this is me, this work represents me? And yes, this includes being a stay-at-home mum and looking after your children (as this is the highest job of all).

Are you taking your work, career or business to the level you want to? Or could You improve on it anyway?

Take a moment to tune in and answer these questions honestly. What is not matching your energy right now? What can You do to improve?

Are other human beings having that unique experience through your work? How would you like them to feel? How would you like them to see what you do?  Which impression would you like to leave on them?

We all have the opportunity to change other people’s lives for the better. And this should be our main intention with the work that we do. This is the highest gift you can give to the world: to create the sense of expansion, unique creativity and originality, to bring a unique imprint to the world in a way that elevates and inspires others and at the same time  nourishes your soul.

Because the energy you put into the things you do is the energy that will be felt by those who use your services and the results of your wok. If you do it with Joy, joy will be felt.

Now just for fun, answer these:

  1. Does this work excite me?
  2. Am I always bursting with new wonderful ideas and excited to bring them into reality?
  3. Does it represent my personality, my values, my dreams, my highest beliefs?
  4. Am I changing people’s lives for the better?

I want so much to hear from you. Let me know your thoughts about this on the comments below. Can’t wait to hear from You!
